Leomat Construction is always willing to assist the local communities surrounding our sites, and our works for D.O.A Zululand Dams is no exception. Leomat was pleased to be able to assist Counsellor Buthelezi (Ulundi) when he contacted the company to request soccer kits sponsorship for his community. The Handover was held in Ulundi at the Community tribal court and the attendance was phenomenal as the tribal court was full. Sello Mohale presented the soccer kits to the community and Counsellor Buthelezi received them on behalf of the community which he then called up the respective teams to come and collect in the presence of the community.
A donation was made to the Sinalo Cerebral Palsy Centre by Leomat Plant Hire to assist in purchasing much needed play equipment for the Centre.
The Sinalo Cerebral Palsy Centre provides care for children with physical disabilities and at present they care for 30 children. The donation was undertaken in response to a request from The Rotary Club of Empangeni (District 9270) under the presidency of Barbara Robarts.
